Sigma Alpha is a professional agricultural sorority. We promote scholarship, leadership, service and fellowship among our members.

Michigan State University is home to the Gamma Chapter of Sigma Alpha. The Gamma Chapter was originally chartered in 1985 and rechartered in 1990. Currently, we have 55 active members. The Gamma Chapter offers it's members the opportunity to live in our designated sorority house. This helps to strengthen the bonds of sisterhood and friendship among them. Sigma Alpha is closely tied to the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, however we encourage all majors to rush.

You'll find Sigma Alpha members standing out as leaders on our campuses and in the workforce. We are dedicated to our motto:

    Women Excelling in Agriculture
